Hi, I’m Alex and I’m obsessed with birth!

I’m a mum of 3, step mum to 4, horse addict and huge birth geek. I’ve been a Birth Keeper for over 11 years. I’m an Antenatal teacher, doula mentor and founder of The Original Birth Connection

I created this programme because I passionately believe that all birthing people deserve the care and support of a doula that is confident in their knowledge and skills.

I want to build a network of confident, intuitive, skilled birth workers, with an independent scope of practice. It's time to make birth better! One family at a time.

I’m excited to see what you create in the course!

Hi there, I’m Michelle, I am a mum of two fabulous grown up daughters and absolute passionate doula/birth keeper in the South West.

Also, very proud to be a mentor and co facilitator with The Original Birth Connection.

I love watching those who are just as passionate embark on their journey into the birth world as they fuel their fire with all the OBC has to offer, set up their business and confidently step into the birth community ready to make a difference to new and expanding families.

Just as I support my clients as they navigate their childbearing year, I also stand beside all those who train with us at the OBC.

"Wow! What a course! This is exactly what this course provides - confidence in myself and my ability to be a birth keeper"
